We have tweaked some of the site pages, here are the changes to the site
- Main Page
- Removed the posts section and made the forums the main display
- Moved the upcoming events to the left side and renamed it
- Menu
- Moved Forum above Posts and changed the main heading to “Posts and Stuff”
- Changed the heading of “Gallery” to “Pictures”
- Forum
- Enabled copying posts into the General category (allows new post to get emailed out)
- Changed the Players Wanted Category to be “Players Wanted, Quick Games”. Use this if you are looking to play on a day there isn’t an event. This will get emailed out to those in the group and replies on the topic would show interest. This allows players to reach out to each other, try it out! Thanks for the idea Ken!
- Weekly Event Email
- Created a new job that will send out a list of the upcoming events, when they are and the number of seats still available
A couple of additional reminders:
- You can use the members list to reach out to individual members of the group, it has name and email address. You need to be logged in to see it.
- We have a capability to maintain a list of games for each user, It would be great if people could enter their games in, it creates a link to the BBG page for that game!
