After Action Report for 8/6

It was a good time Friday night, BBQ was served, German Beer was available (thanks Shawn!) and we all sat down to a game of Ancient Civilizations of the Inner Sea (GMT)!

Like normal, Shawn and I were near each other so conflict escalated quickly. Phoenicia and Minos started tangling over the sea areas then the land areas. Trading Barbarians and natural disasters back and forth. Iberia was left grow unchecked with Rome expanding south. Egypt had plenty of room to go westward but constantly had barbarians invading the Nile region as well as the eastern Med. As Minos claimed the upper hand, Phoenicia's claims began to shrink. Then, like a flash, the gods became angry and flooded the southern, western and northern borders with hoards  of blood thirsty barbarians!

The recovery was slow but overtime Egypt and Iberia were able to purge the hoards from their lands but the scourge remained in Phoenicia and Minos for a while longer.

At the end, Minos was crowned the jewel of the med and Shawn was given the victory he worked so hard to secure!

We missed all of you who couldn't come by to wish Shawn a bon voyage but hopefully, he will come back and visit in the future.
